I have been involved in Borzoi for over 40 years. Borzoi are my passion. I obtained my first borzoi when I was in grad school through a classified ad in the newspaper. Since that time I have been involved in conformation, obedience, and performance. I have bred and shown under the kennel names Novgorod (1973-1979 and 1992 to present) and Arnov (1980-1991 with my ex-husband, Don Hoflin). From 1980-1991, I was the Associate Editor and Publisher of several purebred dog magazines, including The Borzoi Quarterly, as well as the Managing Editor and Publisher of four hardbound breed annuals, one of which was the Borzoi Annual. Only breeding occasionally, I am very selective that all people with whom I place dogs be caring and well suited to own this magnificent breed.
